Milk

Whether it be for cooking, baking or bathing, milk can be very beneficial. Not only does it strengthen your bones and supply you with much-needed calcium, it also helps to smooth and exfoliate your skin. 

In fact a "milk bath is nothing but a regular bath, with milk added to it. But, it is has been the age-old secret of beautiful and glowing skin. Milk bath is mainly famous for its association with the legendary beauty Cleopatra, who is considered to be one of the most beautiful women of the history. It is believed that Cleopatra used to submerge herself in a bath of milk and honey regularly, and this was believed to have been the secret behind her soft and radiant skin."

DIY: Pearl & Ribbon Collar

The combination of pearl and ribbon on the neckline looks super sweet, without becoming overwhelming.


WHAT YOU NEED:

Top2 yards of gauzy ribbon, wire thread, different sized faux pearls and Glue Gun
1. First you need to create the neckline. Start by threading a pearl onto the wire, and then pitch the ribbon so there is a 1/2 inch excess and pierce with wire (see above pic). Continue this, alternating pearl sizes, until it is long enough to surround the entire neckline.
2. Once you have the correct length, tie the ends to make a complete circle. If you want, stop at this point and just wear as a necklace!
3. Next you are going to fasten to the tank. You can sew it on or use a glue gun. After gluing all around the neck, go back and fill in any gaps with the glue gun to ensure it will stay put!
4. Let it dry for 30 minutes and your new embellished tank in ready to wear!

Interior Designer Jan des Bouvrie

Today I present you designer Jan des Bouvrie. He is constantly impressing me with his furniture designs, interiors and architecture. The first thing that comes to my mind when I look at these images is, tranquility and relaxtion. I love all white interiors with pops of color and all white furniture pieces are just gorgeous!

Magdalena Keck is an Interior Designer who creates simple, streamlined designs. Whenever I look through her portfolio, I can't help but be mesmerized by this Upper East Side Residence she designed!  There isn't a whole lot of color in her portfolio, but it's stunning nonetheless.
